[edit] Description of Service

Part of K13. I taught science and math at the Cathoolic Senior College at Toborio, North Tarawa, Republic of Kiribati from 1986-1988.

At that time Taborio CSC was for form 4 and form 5. I taught form 4 science and form 4 and form 5 maths. My headmistresses were Sister Allice and Sister Pat. Sister Nora was also a large contributor to the school at that time.

My time at Taborio was a wonderful time of engaging conversations with enthusiastic students and faculty who came from all over the world, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, not to mention a number of different islanda in Kiribati.

My time in Kirbati was also an amazing life adventure from ridingin dilapidated busses where one shared a seat with a pig or chicken while watching the road pass between your feet to crossing the lagoon in an outrigger canoe with sharks and sea turtles swimming beneath you.

God bless Kiribati.
