Manglaralto is a small, coastal town in the Ecuadorian province of Santa Elena. Following Santa Elena's split from Guayas, it has positioned itself to become a new cantón. Manglaralto is south of the well-known surfing town of Montañita. It is mentioned in the opening chapter of Hesperian's Community Guide to Environmental Health
