[edit] Other
- Create a bar (similar to sitebar or regionbar) showing all active countries for different programs (ie Education, Environment, etc)?
- Figure out disambiguation pages. In case of region and city having the same name, should the link go to the city, the region or a disambiguation page?

[edit] Country pages
- Finish each country page redesign, see progress
- Regroup all subdivisions into each category. Example: "Category:Packing Lists" would have links to all country's packing lists; listed alphabetically by country. This link: Bangladesh goes to Bangladesh's packing list and not to country itself.

[edit] Years
- Powerful organizer for the wiki. The history of the PC is very important to its present state.
- Waiting on FOIA docs for implementation (see below)

[edit] Journals
- Thinking of either adding RSS and/or making each country page two pages
- Would like it more "Real-time", you can see the most recent journal entries within
- A specific countries (most recent volunteer entries on top)
- Sector (invitees only concerns with reading up on Education volunteers, for example; or even Education volunteers in The Gambia)
- individual volunteers (or group; user specified)
- Two websites general idea:
[edit] FOIA Requests
[edit] Cohort histories
- Add a timeline for the history of Peace Corps service for each country. History of the Peace Corps in The Gambia would show from 1967-present exactly when each group arrived, swore in, and finished. vietnam visa Rough Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_United_States_history_%281930-1949%29
- Add a timeline for the history of Peace Corps (as a whole). This might be quite big, so maybe break it up not only in countries (as above), but also years and months
- By year: 1972 . Shows a timeline for all countries of what happened in 1972. When did any group arrive/swear in/complete service. Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1972
- By month: January. Going down the list would be swearing in/arriving dates of groups through the 1960-present that happened in January. Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_31 (The PC one could probably be the whole month...)
- Every cohort would have their own page, M16 for the 16th cohort to enter Mongolia
- vietnam visa fees and tour to vietnam
- Rough Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Paterson (government official)
- The tables for cohorts would include: Arrival date, PST dates, Swearing in Dates, COS date, Group came before (link to that group's page), Group that came after (of if country closed), Assignment, Sector, Number of trainees. Maybe even a picture of the group (if someone would contribute) even two, before after.
[edit] Assignment histories
- Page for each sector, showing which countries had those sectors and when.
- Page for each assignment
- For each year show which assignments closed/opened during that year and what countries (see above for timeline by year)
[edit] Statistics
- Percent of ETs by reason and time in country
- graph/stats on PCV educational level, and RPCVs
- how many volunteers marry fellow PCVs or HCNs, by country and/or year
-- The process of getting the stats might be a problem if you don't define what an ET is; they used to change the stats that way. How many extensions for each volunteer employee and each staff employee. Countries PC is active in where the signing government no longer exists(it's okay if the courts are still there). How many have military dictators, are under US sanctions(except for PC) and or UN sanctions for foreign aid. Free vectors. How many are post conflict. How many volunteer employees had to pay for their own ticket home. How many countries FSO's are paid danger or hazard pay PC is in. How many volunteers work for NGOs or programs like Pep Far that they are hired to work at. The cost of the volunteer employee with the new raise and with the new budget. How the Benin volunteer employee died. How many volunteer employees were fired for acquiring aids. How many volunteer employees travel out of country(their country) for PC and how much they're paid for the work. tenant background check
