Want to Join “Don’t Forget The Lyrics”? Wait, “Don’t Forget Background Check” As Well![edit]

Perhaps karaoke is one of the many things that the world has to thank Japan for. Since the introduction of karaoke, it had landed in the center family get-together or favorite pastime of friends around the globe. If you are also one of the many who sings a lot through Karaoke and actually acing it with a 100% score, then you might want to join the singing game show, “Don’t Forget the Lyrics!” Being a karaoke pro, recalling song lyrics of different genres could make you one million dollar a lot richer. So, do you want to join anyways?

Here is the instruction if you are at home and want to know how to join this fun game show as released by Fox and produced by RDF USA:

1. Download the free “Don’t forget the Lyrics” application form found at the network site of Fox. 2. Check if you are qualified with the following eligibility requirement: a. You must be 18 years of age or older. b. You must be a legal resident of United States. If an immigrant, necessary papers must be presented. The same papers you present when an employer ask for an employment verification which confirms the legality of your stay here in the US. c. You must not have immediate family or living with anyone inside the household that is/are employed or a staff by the company involved to the show for the past two years. d. You must not be running for any public office soon for the next year or within one year of the episode you will be appearing. e. You must be ready and willing to undergo a series of background checks, medical and psychological exams. This are all left at the discretion of the producers. f. You must not have joined and appeared on more that two reality show or game shows for the past five years. g. You must not have appeared on more than one show within the year you want to join the contest. 3. Perfect a 5-minute video audition in a VHS or DVD format. Label it with your name, address and contact number. Don’t forget to show your personality in the video and state your desire why you want to win the prize money of 1 million dollar. Be creative! You may want to include in the video the people you want to share the prize money with! Of course, don’t forget to sing. Okay? This is what the contest is all about, remember?

Before sending your application to Don’t Forget the Lyrics Casting with address 1149 N. Gower St. Suite 104 Los Angeles, CA 90038, check your application package for the following:

1. Completed and signed application form. 2. Completed and signed Name and Likeness Release and Transfer of Rights that is included in the application form upon downloading and printing such. 3. Photos of yourself and the photos of at least three of your supporters. All Photos must include one head shot and one full body shot. 4. The 5-minute videotape you perfected. 5. Photocopy of your driver’s license.
