We were the first program trained completely overseas. There were 127 of us who left Philadelphia after our week of staging. Training began in Winneba where we spent two weeks getting shots, learning about Ghana and starting language training. From there we had a three week live in with a Ghanaian family, went to our schools for one week then rejoined the whole group for a week in Koforidua. After the week, we split into two groups, secondary school group and training college groups, to student teach for three weeks. Our final week was at Legon where we had our language tests and swearing in ceremony.
