Packing list for China
Most of the stuff in this wiki entry is either outdated or blatantly false. Shoe sizes up to 8 or 9 for men is ridiculous. 11/12 is pretty typical at most shoe stores.
Ear plugs? Flannel sheets? Come on.. Whatever you forget at home can be bought for cheaper in China.
True, deodorant and other basic hygiene products are almost impossible to find. I wouldn't bring any books given the PC in country resource center that is more like a library with pretty much anything you'll need.
