What I Did There: I worked at seventh school with Yevgenia Ivanovna as my sponsor and Valentina Nikolaevna as my partner teacher. Mostly I taught facultatives in the afternoons and evenings, but I did work with Valentina on two of her more advanced classes. Additionally I worked with various other teachers for special occasions, participated in a collaborative city-wide teacher's group, competed with a KVN team (Len-Gen's team!), and tagged along on the school's annual archaeological camp at Zmeynaya Sopka (Alexander Levovich was the archaeologist). I apologize for the lack of last names here - some things stuck in the memory, and many things did not. One of my favorite activities in Arsenyev was going to the public banya with Natalia and Marina.

My husband, Andy, worked with Tamara Ivanovna at 8th school. Jack Honey was also in Arsenyev while we were, and he worked at 10th school. We fondly remember meeting him at Blinaya, using his laundry facilities, and hanging out at Igor and Marina's together.
