We propose an on-site training program to train and certify our youth residents in Fabrication of Steel Beds and Steel Cabinets. As part of their rehabilitation program, these children will not only acquire skills which they can use once re-integrated to their respective families and communities, but they can then also become productive, self-reliant, and effective non-recidivating members of the rehabilitation program they are now in.

Twenty-five Children-In-Conflict with the Law who are not enrolled in outside schooling will directly benefit from this project which will last for two months. The project concerning fabrication of steel beds and steel cabinets will directly benefit all children in the center at present and in years to come.

Our vision is “For these selected group of children to learn and enhance their trade skills and capabilities and to later transform themselves as economically productive and self-reliant persons.” Only by working on this vision can we fully realize our dedicated efforts in helping them attain positive changes and redirection in their lives.

Goal #1: To help the Children-in Conflict with the Law learn and improve their trade skills and capabilities by engaging themselves in a short-term, in-house training program over a period of two months.

Goal #2: For these CICL to transform their learned and enhanced trade skills into a personal and economic productivity gain upon their future discharge from the center.

RRCY will provide 35.57% of the total cost of the project, specifically including hiring the trainer and purchasing a portion of the materials necessary. We are asking the Partnership to supply 64.43% of the cost of materials.
